This is it, the final selection event for the 2027 Canada Winter Games! The top 7 female and top 7 male athletes born in 2009 to 2012 will be selected based on points after the trials.
For more information about the selection process and points please see the attached selection criteria.
All athletes born in 2009 to 2012 that are part of the Provincial Team Program or would like to be part of the program in 2026-27 are required to participate in this event so that we can have a great trials.
There is a small fee for participating, which will help cover the costs of organizing this event.

Friday, September 11th, 2026:
Weigh-in: from 7pm to 8pm at Abbotsford Judo Club
Saturday, September 12th
8:30am: Referee Meeting
9am: Competition Starts

Only one weight division is allowed
As per Judo Canada Tournament Policy, division will be:
2 to 5 participants: Pool
6 & 7 participants: 2 Pools
8+ Participants: Double elimination
Seeding will be based on Canada Winter Games Ranking
