Registration Details — Please Read Carefully


To be fully registered, please complete these two steps:

1) Trackie Registration - Judo Alberta Membership

Your Membership with Judo Alberta (JA), our Provincial Sport Organization.
JA Membership Fee (pricing below) is paid annually at the start of every season and is non-refundable.
You must re-register every fall through Trackie to maintain your Judo Alberta membership.

2) Zen Planner Registration - Judo Club Membership

Your Membership with Ni Ten Judo Club in Fort McMurray.
Club Membership Fee (pricing below) can be paid monthly or annually and is non-refundable.
• Our 10-punch pass is for 18+ only, still requires a JA Membership, non-refundable, non-transferable, expires after 1 year.
Zen Planner makes it easy to set up electronic payments and manage your membership.
Your Club Membership will automatically renew
• Contact the Club email to pause or cancel Club Membership; monthly memberships can be paused once per 12-month period; annual memberships cannot be paused. 

Your Trackie confirmation email will include details on how to complete your Zen Planner registration.

• Once registration is completed, Judo Alberta/Canada fees are non-refundable.
• To register multiple members, please use a computer/laptop or switch your phone to Desktop View.
• For Free Trial participants, do not register in Trackie until after your trial!

2025 /2026 SCHEDULE

White Belt Jr. (Age 5-11)
• Belt Levels: White, 1/2 Yellow, Full Yellow
• Monday & Wednesday, 5:15 - 6:15 pm

Colour Belt Jr. (Age 7-11)
• Belt Levels: Yellow to 1/2 Green
• Monday & Wednesday, 6:30 - 7:30 pm
Competitive members have extra training near tournament dates

Teens & Adults (Age 12 to Adult)
• Belt Levels: White to Black
• Monday & Wednesday, 7:45 - 9:15 pm
Competitive members have extra training near tournament dates

OPEN MAT (Age 14+ to Adult)
• Belt Levels: Yellow to Black and Adult White Belt
• Saturday, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Zen Planner will show you which classes you or your child can attend, and allows you to pre-register for those classes.

JUDO CLUB MEMBERSHIP FEES

PUNCH PASS: $120 for 10 Classes (Teen/Adult only) — email [email protected] for details

Family discount of 10% applies to all members in one household - email [email protected] for the Zen Planner discount code or it can be applied to your account after registration.

Judo Alberta Fee (Once Annually)

  • Age 0-11: $110

  • Age 12-15: $120

  • Age 16-99: $130

Fundraising Fee (Once Annually, Earn it Back!)

  • $300 — added to your Zen Planner account after registration

  • Earn it back by selling chocolates or 50/50 tickets to help spread the word about Ni Ten Judo. Adults included.

Volunteer Levy (Once Annually, Earn it Back!)

  • $200 — new this year to keep membership fees stable

  • Earn it back by volunteering before May 2026 to help with club cleanliness, leadership, communication, and events

  • Added to your Zen Planner account after registration

Judo Uniform (Gi)

  • $100 with free club logo embroidery

  • Available in White or Blue

  • Purchase through the Zen Planner Store

Grading Fee

  • $20 per belt promotion — appears on your Zen Planner account

  • Covers admin fees with Judo Alberta, belt cost, and certificates

Payment Options

  • Automatic withdrawals through Zen Planner with your bank or credit card info

  • Email transfer, cash, or cheque available on request

  • Please help our administration by setting up automatic payments if you can!

Awareness and Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement

AWARENESS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I am aware that Judo involves risks including risk of personal injury, death, property damage, expense and related loss, including loss of income. Included in these risks are negligence on the part of Judo Alberta, its directors, officers, staff, officials, member clubs, volunteers, Judo Canada, other participants and owners of the facilities where activities occur. I freely accept and fully assume all such risks and the possibility of personal injury, death, property damage, expense and related loss, including loss of income.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

In consideration of Judo Alberta accepting my application to participate in Judo activities, I agree:

1. To waive any and all claims that may I have in the future against Judo Alberta, its directors, officers, staff, officials, member clubs, volunteers, Judo Canada, other participants and owners of the facilities where activities occur.

2. To release Judo Alberta, its directors, officers, staff, officials, member clubs, volunteers, Judo Canada, other participants and owners of the facilities where activities occur from any and all liability for any personal injury, death, property damage, expense and related loss, including loss of income that I or my next of kin may suffer as a result of my participation in this activity, due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract or breach of any statutory duty of care.

3. To hold harmless and indemnify Judo Alberta, its directors, officers, staff, officials, member clubs, volunteers, Judo Canada, other participants and owners of the facilities where activities occur from any and all liability for any damage to property of, or personal injury to, any third party, resulting from my participation in this activity.

4. To allow the use of my name, photographic image, and relevant personal information for the promotion of judo in the media, judo related publications & websites, and for use by governing judo associations, when deemed appropriate by Judo Alberta.
